I just remember him saying that before in a interview. and In the ring after the fight he told him he is a good young fighter. to keep his head up. but the other statement was in a interview!

Hopkins did want to help Pavlik out but he disrespected Pavlik with some of his antics after the fight. Pavlik has never even touched on Hopkins wanting to help him out and I don't blame him.

Jermaine Taylor beat him twice, and if they ever fight again! He would probably stop Hopkins.

    "Hopkins is a shitbag"

I totally agree, he offered help in a patronising, undermining way. Hopkins in his own mind thinks he's on the level of Sugar Ray Robinson, on ability i don't think he's a all-time great. His middle-weight reign is totally overrated, he fought two blown up welterweights, a fat Oscar De La Hoya and a one dimensional Felix Trinidad...?? A legend...???

    Chris Eubank
    Nigel Benn
    James Toney

All fought better fighters at Middleweight/Supermiddleweight, all of them. Chris Eubank went 20/21 Championship fights undefeated over Middleweight and SupermiddleWeight, and he beat guys like Nigel Benn & Michael Watson, real Middleweights. And then there's James Toney, by far a better resume than Bernard Hopkins.

I personally cannot stand Bernard Hopkins. I give him credit for his achievements past 40, but deep down people have been getting carried away. Because boxing has become that ****, from a technical point of view if Bernard Hopkins was 30 years old "Right Now" nobody would be talking about him.

"Because technically and physically as a fighter, he's nothing out of this world"

I slate him from time to time on twitter, and i will continue to do this. He's a dirty fighter, a pathological liar aswell.

And his one draw was a gift vs Wright and he got another gift against Spinks.

Hopkins does have a strange way of ruining fighter threw the years. Started with Joe Lipsey, then Mercardo, Echols, Trinidad, Pavlik, Taylor, maybe now Pascal we'll see. But fighter just never seem to be as good after then fight Hopkins and it's not just them losing or not being good but you just see it in these guys even when they win they look like they lost something and arent the same.

I don't know what it is but he's right.

He hates on JT cause he lost to him twice. But not just "lost" just got out hustled and worked, and I think he is mad at himself for letting it go down like that. He can say what he wants about JT but he didn't take anything from Jermain, if anything walking over Hopkins gave him too much confidence, and he took tough fight after tough fight, and the rest is history. **** him, JT beat him twice, he can cry all he wants but it won't change that.

What in God's name would make you think even older Hopkins wouldat Jermain now? Shiiiit, I'm not saying JT stops him but that feather fisted old cat ain't knocking JT out...obviously, and Jermain outboxed him twice, so I'm not sure where you're coming from here. Hopkins is a G, but he didn't and won't beat Jermain...simple and plain.

Jermaine is more shot then the 47 year old legend, his brutal KO losses to Abraham, Froch, and Pavlik are way too much for Jermaine to ever be relevent in the sport again.

:rofl Get the **** outta here with that stupid ****. There's a whole world of difference between getting handed a gift decision and barely edging a mother****er out in a rematch and "walking over" someone. GayT didn't walk over **** with his dumb st-st-stuttering ass, and now he's about one fight away from some serious brain damage. **** where you're from, you country ass ******.

Lol at this guy being mad. Thing is, who has Taylor fought before Hopkins? Taylor beating Hopkins established his career, in the top 3 p4p.. and he was touted as being a future ATG when he was trained by Steward. Pavlik ended Taylor's career, not Hopkins.
