"the ECHO understands Fury, whose profile has grown with recent fights on terrestrial television, intends to relinquish his two belts in order to chase international honours"

    Ok then :nut

Not that I think the source is unbiased but I do reckon Fury will vacate.

listen, as things stand, we dont know if there's any truth at all in this.
as you know, tyson fury is from a travelling family, fighting is in the blood.
if another man (price), challange's fury to a fight, what do you think it would do to tyson's standing and reputation, if he vacated his title to avoid meeting that man.
reputation is all to fighting travellers.
lets just wait and see first, before we all start accusing him of avoiding the fight.

This is just a ploy to get a response out of fury and hennesy and see what there intentions are. the sooner they know the better if he is going to vacate they have enough time to try and goad him into fighting him

Who would win the purse bid? That's the debate, we had it on the BoxNation show last night. Neither MH or FM can afford to lose. What if FW went in with a monster bid...

    Adios.

Tyson Fury is on the brink of being a World Contender..? David Price is not.

Its too much of a dangerous fight for Tyson Fury, but also a backwards step business wise.

    Lets hope not.

    3 million+ viewers on C5, or 10,000+ on Boxnation.

Which is better for the sport?

If I were Maloney, I wouldn't be overly fussed if Hennessey won the bid. Price demolishing Fury in front of a few million terrestrial viewers is the absolute best exposure he could hope for his prize asset at this stage in his career. I'd sacrifice the pay-day now to potentially increase both interest and revenue for all of Price's following fights.

Well if he is no longer paying De Gale maybe he can afford a 'Monster Bid'.

Sky would be over the moon if Maloney lost the bid! yeah, right.
This is now a game of chicken...who blinks first...
By the way....on C5 with good promotion this would do 5 million....

    Adios.

I agree, but you infered FW stood a chance. You and I both know he aint got the money. He could not even afford Bellew McIntosh

Don't believe the article. This fight will happen. Fury is positive he will win and thinks Price is chinny.
