Actually RipCity I agree with you.Also Napoles to me is a tad overrated.

 

I agree..... Benitez was also bigger and naturally a lil' stronger than Joe Naps.... 147 is tuff for the smaller Naps to handle against a very young and slick Benitez of 1978 / 1979 like he was when he outpointed Palomino....

I'll pick a '78 / '79 Benitez to dec. Joe Naps of 1969-1971 at 147 pounds.:deal

Benitez by close verdict.

 

I'm giving the edge to Napoles by close decision. He was a tad too fast for Benitez, which I think would make the difference in the end.

 

And he would not fall for those Benetiz tricks. Benetiz needs guys that make the same mistake over and over. He schools those guys. But the opponents that did not fall for tricks like Curry and Cervantes and so on made for tough matches.

Rip, while I was thinking along the lines of what you wrote, and kind of agree and would pick Wilfredo because of this, your off going after Dig, he was actually being pretty nice.
