It appaears as if Don King is now in the mix according to El Nuevo Dia.

Stated that Pacquiao is fixated on 147 lbs and that Don King had spoken with Cotto's camp in the last few days, however they deny that it regarded the fight.
It mentions that Kind is flying to PR in the next few days to meet with Cotto camp and Gabby!

Hope something is inked soon be it Pacquiao or Mayweather.

This is what Arum was trying to avoid, however he didn't seem to lean on
Manny to let up on the weight issue!!!

I would much rather see Floyd vs Cotto than Pac Cotto II.

say what you want about don king, but he gets the job done.
if it was king in charge, instead of arum, then maybe we'd all be looking forward to pacquiao vs mayweather by now.

as a Floyd fan im not interested in Floyd beating up Pac left overs, it will do nothing legacy wise

though it probably could line his pockets

i only really care about a Manny P fight for Floyd but lets be real its been a cold war since 09 fight may never happen

also he is about to go away for a little while so as long as he can fight somebody prior to prison that would be nice

i guess he wants some one who will agree to his terms not argue or stall and make sure he can get in one bout before prison

I would say King makes the bigger fights more often than Arum....Arum in houses way too much it is criminal.

Just because King has slowed down (...Signs of him not being as greedy...atleast not as greedy as Arum) with his promoting doesn't mean he can't make big fights...

Cotto doesn't have to sign a long term contract, and I doubt King at this stage in hs life wants the long term responsabilities with all the legal crap that comes with promoting fighters long term.

    **** Arum.

King's hardly a big fish anymore, he hasn't had a super fight in years.

Don wants the money so he will make the biggest fight.

  13. You sound scared like Floyd. No such thing as left overs... YOU gotta beat him yourself. Floyd is not Manny... and maybe Floyd Can't do what Manny did. Stop ducking fights you don't even have to be in.. it's weaker than Floyd actually.

It appears everyone wants a pice of floyd, if only for the money except pac or arum or whatever.
