First off Pac ripped off Cotto the first time by pulling him down to a ridiculously low catchweight and then ripping him off for his title which had no business being on the line at that weight.

Secondly that hypocritical little **** fought Margocheata at 150lbs.

This stinks of corruption (and Arum).

I'm glad Cotto is saying No Mas this time!

Pac is small for a WW. He needs to fight other WW's and ignore anyone over. But like I said with Mayweather and Martinez, if one is dumb enough to get to a weight where they cannot perform properly, that's their own fault. Both Pac and Cotto have fights that fit them in their own respective divisions.

Ridiculously low catchweight? LOL. He weighed in at 1lb less than what he weighed in for his bought against Clottey.

For the first Cotto fight, Pac had to go up 7lbs from 138, Cotto had to lose 1lb from his previous weight. The most Pac had ever weighed was 142 against DLH having gone up from SFW to LW to WW in a few months. He was not set at the weight, and every one cried about how Oscar was so weak so they can't use that excuse that he'd already fought at welterweight.

He asked for it for the same reason Chavez asked Whitaker to fight at 145, same reason Oscar made Hopkins fight at 156, because they knew they couldn't carry the weight effectively, and to make sure it was as fair as could be for both and he wouldn't be at a significant strength disadvantage as the smaller guy.

Pac weighed in 1lb less to show he wasn't abusing the catchweight and it really was because he couldn't go from 138 to 147. Haters love hating on him, making up fanciful reasons like you are and ignoring facts of the situation.

I agree this fight should not be at 147 though. Pac has every right not to fight above 147 again, Margarito put some damage on him last time he did and he is definately IS an undersized welter not having weighed more than 145 for any fight. In that case he shouldn't fight Cotto or any JMWs.

150 would be fair for both, Pac fighting 7lbs from his previous weight, Cotto has to lose 4lbs. I hope it's at 154 though so Cotto has the advantage and it will be a better fight.

Cotto doesn't need this fight, so if they can't agree they should move on. Manny should just take that ass whooping from Floyd and become president of the Philippines or whatever he's gonna do over there.

...****ing haters...all you can do is laugh at their pathetic lies...145 was 1lb lower than the weight Cotto fought at the fight before against Clottey, who was massive. Pac went up 7lbs from his previous weight. Nodifferent to the Chavez-Whitaker fight, and many other catchweights throughout history.

What do you think of Meldrick Taylor fighting Terry Norris at 149 for his JMW belt? :think

Stay in your own weight class or fight only at the required limit.
