Mayweather. Pacquiao has the speed though. Pacquiao can get himself in some interesting positions due to his footwork, but is not quite as balanced or as good at judging distance in comparison to Mayweather. Mayweather having the better footwork does not mean that Pacquiao has bad footwork though.
Mayweather and it's not even close! Don't believe me...try chasing a wild chicken and you'll know how hard it is to catch it.
They are even since Floyd is one of the most brilliant pure boxers ever in the sense that he uses all his boxing IQ in real time and almost automatic wisdom on display which has to do with all that training with a very good boxer in his time Roger Mayweather. Positioning and body reflexes is more important now he moved up to face the likes of Hoya and Shane than stay mobile like when he used to circle his dangerous opponents like Diego Corrales (RIP) at SFW. Pac is still a throttling machine that comes and comes from all sides and angles and I would dare to say that his foot speed, balance and mobility ( step in and out of range) is more important than his handspeed or punching power. It would be a fast, intense and breathless fight. It gat to happen.
Spot on post...Most dont understand and cant contrast the meaning of Footwork compared to footspeed...Pac has fast footspeed but his footwork is sloppy! Nothing to argue here!:good
Pac is always off balance leaves himself to be hit flush time after time. This ain't even close, pac fires a punch with one leg off the god damn canvas. LMAO
Footwork, it's Mayweather. Pacquiao has better footspeed and is much more explosive on his feet, but going by actual footwork and technical correctness, gotta be Floyd. No question.
Pac has trouble cutting off the ring, but I love his footwork otehrwise. His feet are so fast and he can feint and switch to different angles so quickly.
