i think thats exactly how 50/50 split works...both team divide the revenues, and its up to their team how they divide the money among themselves...

:huh Ok?? So your point is? Everybody agrees it should be 50-50. What point are you tryin to make, that Foyd deserves more money in the end? Why? They both bring in relatively equal PPV numbers, so they both deserves an equal share of the pie. Whether Floyd is able to keep more of his money is his business. I don't know why that's so important to you. This is just a pointless fanboy topic.

Ok so you agree with me that Arum is screwing over Pacquiao. Because of that, he hasn't made as much money as Floyd in the past. For this fight, I say give GBP their money and give Arum the same amount of money. Then they take their cut and they pay whoever else they need to pay and then they pay their fighters.
So in essence it's a 50/50 split, but Floyd will go home with more money

    I think it's pretty obvious.

Why should Pac get more money because he has a **** promoter? He should get the same amount and it's his problem whether he shares it with someone or not.

Everybody gets what your sayin ****, your just pointing out the obvious. Everybody agrees it should be 50-50 , nobody is disagreeing with you. But you said in your OP that Floyd should get more of the money in the end, and you haven't given a good reason why, aside from the personal affection you seem to have for him.

I don't see what it matters how Pacquiao and Mayweather split their money from the fight within their camps and what actually goes into their bank account. That comes after they are paid. The purse, PPV and other revenue should be split 50-50.

Floyd's offer is incredibly ridiculous. The fight will break records. If Pacquiao accepts 40Mil flat and let's Floyd take all PPV money and other revenue, Floyd could walk away with close to $100Mil or more. That's essentially a 70-30 split, or worse. Bob Arum could only dream of raping Pacquiao like that.

he deserves more money in the end because he's always made more money than pacquiao *******. And I believe a true 50/50 with both fighters getting the same exact amount isn't fair, but a 50/50 split between teams.

Ok well that's a stupid reason and that's not how it works in boxing. If both fighters are briniging in relatively the same amount of revenue, they BOTH deserve an equal share. It doesn't matter if one guy is even to keep a larger sum of his cut. That's Floyd's business and his alone, and that shouldn't have any affect on the negotiation of potential fight. Floyd shoud know this as a businessman, but he's obviously not very intelligent.

I dont get why you started this thread if you agree with 50/50 split on everything but wont be happy if mayweather doesnt end up with more money.
if pac some how manages to end up with more money than mayweather after the 50/50 is shared out ( which we all no isnt going to happen) then surely he has been the wiser with his money and managed to some how keep on to it mayweather ending up with less is no one elses fault than his own.
just because mayweather makes more money than pac when he fights due to him only paying himself doesnt mean its fair to him that he ends up with more money after the 50/50 just because of this
