Thomas Oosthuizen vs. Serge Yannick. Another mismatch?

    They are set to fight on the 3rd March. I predict another blowout like the Sierra fight where Sierra couldnt land 10 punches a round and walking out frustrated. Serge Yannick will be made to look like a bum. Oosthuizen is high risk/low reward for the top names in the division. Does this mean he will fight average fighters untill he is a mandatory for a big name?

    Best thing for Tommy to do is get his name out there, stateside. Concentrate on beating guys until people start taking note, its no point in him fighting the big names right now. He has a lot to learn and a loss to any of the Top Dogs in the division would most likely stifle his rise. He is young so time is on his side, like I said let him fight these 'bumbs' and get more exposure.

    Remember Tommy isn't used to fighting infront of 15-20000 people just yet...no point in rushing him ;)

    P.S. We both know we got a winner in the Young Gun

    Positive Key Attributes:
    * Very tall
    * Good Boxing Ability
    * VERY good handspeed
    * Above ave ring IQ
    * Young

    Negative Attributes:
    * Average defence @ best
    * Tends to get bored if the fight seems too easy

    The main event was supposed to be a strawweight fight between Hekkie Budler and Florante Contes. Contes reportedly fell from a tree. And Tommy was asked to fill in even though he will headline a showbox event just a month later. Tommy cant say no to a fight, he is a beast at his young age and trains like a demon. HE WILL BE A SUPERSTAR. I have no doubt at all.

    Also his footwork seems a bit crap and his handspeed isn't THAT great, I mean it is good but certainly not on the level of Bute, Dirrell or Ward from what I saw, I only seen 2 of his fights I must admit though that were available on youtube.

    Oosthuizen is a good sportsman, depends if he can make the transition to boxing.

    Sanders did it, so no reason why he can't.
