Cotto's done for, he has no heart. When the going gets tough he'll go into survival mode yet again. Him vs Mayweather or Pac 2 are both horrible mismatches. Canelo would beat the **** out of Cotto right now.

It would be an ok win to me.. Don't see Cotto as being the same since the first Margo beating, still. He'd be Floyd's second fight above his natural weight class, and also have a full time real trainer before and during the fight.. Those two things would make it a better win than Pac's in some opinions, but I wouldn't give him too much more credit. Any win post Margo for Cotto is an okay win at best for top fighters.

Since the first Margarito fight? Definitely. Since the Pacquiao fight? I don't see it.

If anything he's looked better against Foreman and Margarito in his last fight than he did against Clottey.

Except for the fact he alluded to it by saying 'I will not continue to sacrifice my body to lose weight'

When Pac and Floyd retire, people will just talk about who they beat and how convincingly. People will not talk about weight, lack of trainer. To beat Cotto is a big win.

    It'll be a great win.

He'll have beaten the number 1 in the following divisions: sfw, lw, ww, lmw.

Almost unprecedented to be number 1 in 4 different weight classes.

Everyone who is hating on Cotto should simply take a look at his resume of fights. Cotto has fought every style of fighter in his career and has only lost to two of them. Cotto is very good at making adjustments in rematches and is 3-3 as a proffesional in rematches. I would have to favor Floyd in a match between the two, but Cotto definetely has a good chance of staying on the outside this time and outboxing Pac to a decision win. Either way, much props to Cotto for seeking the toughest fights win or lose. At the end of a career that is much more appreciated than assuming who you could have beat. There is always a style out there that will beat yours. Thats why almost all the greats have a loss on there record.

I laugh at all of you that say Cotto has no heart and that he is a B+ fighter. I would like to see you have the same resume and come away clean with no criticism.
