Both great boxers... but reporters and people who gave their opinion in that short film don't talk at all about Mantequilla coming from WW to fight Monzon at his weightclass (MW)... they don't say anything too about Napoles being older than Monzon....but over all they recognise that Mantequilla was a good boxer... I think one of then said that the fight was pretty much over after the third round... Mantequilla didn't or couldn't do anything good after that.... Carlos Irustas (a reporter??) said that the first thing Monzon did was to extend his left (jab) and put his thumb in Napoles eye.... he said that both Monzon and Mantequilla were dirty boxers. (I like that :yep) OH, and pretty much when Monzon was fighting, everything stopped in Argentina... there were not sick people at the hospitals because they had to watch the fight as well....
Monzon was magnificent, deliberate and unflappable. A great champion in a historically prestigious division, and went out on top.
