Champion at the time was adamek and joe would of had a great chance at beating him too. Not knocking on him for not doing it but it would of been great addition to his legacy to add a third weight division lineal title.

He was shot by the time he moved the 175. He would have beat Adamek though.

    Was he?

I know what they say about his hands, but he never had very much power to start with. The reflexes and speed still seemed to be there, at least the most of it.

^ He did. Young Joe was a beast before his hand & wrist injuries made him adapt his style.

He could have beaten Enzo Mac pretty easily and that would have been a huge fight in Wales, maybe even sell out Cardiff Millennium stadium.

If you slap at LHW then you throw cotton balls at CW.

**** hands. Any increase in power through being heavier would be lost.

His hands were ****ed for years and the move to 175 didnt prove to be too gracious to him, cruiserweight would have killed him

He was already a small guy at 175 and got dropped in every fight at LHW. Fighting at 200 pounds, where the guys almost hit as hard as HWs, wouldn't have been a good idea.

I wouldnt over rate Cruiserweights too much, Adamek hit harder than anyone at the weight yet couldnt make a dent up at heavyweight
