Bute refused a fight with Hopkins who said he would have went to 170 to fight him.

I've nothing against Bute really. He seems like a decent fella and I liked him a while back but his fans are amongst the worst on this site. For that reason I hope he loses, just so these bunch of morons get a bit of a grip.

 

Interestingly, the most avoided man in boxing ****ed Bute up in the amateurs.

Bute is the modern day Calzaghe, nothing else. All he's doing is fighting unknowns in Canada to rack up a list of paper title defenses and people seem to be easily deceived by that in the long run. Bute seems to be making his own list of rules for accomplishing nothing while the supersix was going on. There's a reason he didn't join that tournament, he wanted to sit from long range while those guys beat on each other only to cherry pick the losers out of a tournament he claimed was no big deal. If it was no big deal why is he calling out the losers out of the tournament?, try to ask that to those Buteturds defending him.

Apparently without the 2 million guarantee from Showtime and the 60/40 split of the gate and 50/50 split of UK tele, froch no longer desires this fight.

Can't blame him since without the Showimte $$$ this essentially goes from a 4 mil+ payday to a 1.5 mil payday and that only if Bute gives him a 50/50 or better deal.

ppl called him a ducker and Bute fans said the Super 6 took away fights

ppl say he wasnt avoided by the Super Six guys cause they were in the tournament and couldnt fight him

its funny they use the tournament to call Bute a ducker and then use the tournament to say Bute isnt avoided

truth is Bute had no good fights available so he fought who he could, he fought tough fighters, not household names or the whose who but they for the most part were pretty god punchers with experience and ranked

now that the tourney is over and Ward isnt tied up by the tournament its time for them to fight

there is no reason that they cant fight no valid reason why the biggest and best fight which would unify 3 titles shouldnt be made

idiots that argue against this fight are the same sane fans that complain fighters dont unify enough and the best dont fight the best

Bute just wants his opportunity wants his chance the same chance Ward got the same big fights that they were given

its clear that Showtime wants to **** him over and that Ward does not want this fight for whatever reason

im trying to be sensible and the hate for Bute is awful

I mean if Ward wants an easy coming home bout vs a soft touch after tough ones like Froch Kessler and Abraham than thats ok but it seems he doesnt want it at all

it also appears Showtime is trying to really peddle Dirrel, put all this stock in him hope he beats Bute so they can have an all American unification

no offense to Dirrel but Bute shouldnt have to wait to face Ward

 

Not only that they question the best fighters who were all fighting each other ..For real must be some good **** they smokin !

Stupidest part about all this is that if Showtime offered Lucian and ward extensions with huge guarantees, then offered Kessler, Steiglitz, and the Dirrels similar guarantees, they could essentially set Bute or Ward or the Dirrels up as Showtime PPV stars, and really dig into HBOs monopoly on the market.
