Rashad is back. Where do you rank him in the light heavyweight division?

yeah, and Shogun or Dan never fought Rashad so how could you place them above him. Some weird logic we've got here...

He lost to Lyoto, who lost to Shogun, who lost to Dan, who is now everyones favorite because of that fight, despite fact he would be probably killed by anyone who won't gass out before 3rd round;P But math doesn't work well for combat sports.

LHW is so stack that losing to anyone doesn't even need to mean you are worse. You were just worse that particular day.

Well, he is next to loose against Jones...that I know... !
He would prolly get KTFO again against Machida....

    So...TBH I don't know... !

    My top 5

    1. Jones
    2. Henderson
    3. Rashad
    4. Shogun
    5. Rampage

I would say that Rashad and Henderson are pretty muched tied for #2, but I like Henderson better. I wouldn't honestly mind if Jones was injured, and Rashad and Henderson fought.

A Henderson versus Rashad fight would be more interesting and competitive to me rather than seeing either one of those guys fighting Jones, whom would probably blow them out. I would also like to see a Hendo versus Machida match up.

i think rashad has found his groove. i noticed it before the start of the tito fight.
there was no theatrics and he didnt look the slightest bit nervous, just a cold blooded pro in there to do a job. he utterly dismantled tito without breaking a sweat. it feels to me like hes put the machida ko behind him and now feels comfortable and confident with being tagged as one of the best in the world.

I could care less about rankings but I can say that he is extremely underwhelming and has one of the worst Glass Jaws in the sport today. He does well against one-dimensional opponents and has-beens but anyone who can strike and stop a takedown will shatter his glass violently. He sucks.

He's been doing it for a while. The first time was the Rampage fight.

I'd like to see Rashad fight Shogun. Their styles would mesh perfectly for a great fight. I don't see Rashad troubling Jones too much. Jones is a special kind of figther & can't see anyone troubling him for some time. Unbelievable talent. The 205 division has some great match ups.

Rashad is one of those guys who can adapt to take advantage of his opponent's weakness. If you're a better BJJ guy, he'll keep the fight standing. If you're a more dangerous striker, he'll smother you. If you like to press him up against the cage for some dirty boxing, he'll take you down and work on the ground. He seems calm, comfortable and confident wherever the fight goes.

Yea i saw the others responses too. I guess I didn't notice it before Jones started doing it. Maybe they can both fight in that stance in their fight coming up. That would be something:lol:

Top two by virtue of Machida and Shogun having just been battered by Jones. If he loses to Jones he's back down around 5. Henderson still looking good, but he can't go forever and I can't envisage a fight with Jones that doesn't end with Hendo being choked out.

If you are requesting legacy rankings then it is Jones, Shogun, Machida, Evans, Rampage BUT its current standings and due to losses the others drop down the pecking order.

Not sure where to rank Hendo at the moment. I think you rank him highly at 185, 205 or even HW if he wishes!

I detest MetalMandible, but sometimes you just can't argue with logic.
