I dont know how either of their chins would stand up to each other, neither do I know who really holds the edge in handspeed, or technical ability. I really cant say who I think would win that one.
Aw man this is a tough one. Both are A level. Nonito holds a size advantage, but Rigo uses his size to his advantage for countering and being elusive plus he's equally dangerous to the body as to the head. I hate to pick but for now Id say probably Nonito. I think hes abit faster, has great footwork and very mobile. He uses angles and comes in with unorthodox punches Rigo not used too. Also noticed Rigo does open up alot when he throws that left to the body, but he's fast himself so he can get away with it. Both of their chins havent been tested so maybe one might hold while the other may not. Anybodys fight.
Nonito No No Donaire. I wouldnt mind a Rigo vs Vic fight tho. Might answer acouple questions how Rigo handles a physical fighter like Darchinyan. Wouldnt mind that one at all. Plus I wonder how Rigo might handle a blabbermouth like Vic trying to get under his skin. Rigos coolness would be severly tested by Vic if Vic had plans for 122.
If Donaire did fight and beat Rigo, do you think people would blame it partly on Rigo's lack of pro fights?
Don't think so. Rigo can't get any better. He is as skilled as anyone could dream to be. Better excuses would be size and age. Mostly size, because Rigondeaux is not a real 122lb. Actually, 122lb is near his real everyday weight. On fight night he is always like 10lb lighter than his opponents. He is just too confident on his skills, he doesn't dehydrate at all and fights at his real weight, probably the only active boxer who do that.
This is probably top of my list of fights I want to see. I'd probably favour Donaire but a Rigo win wouldn't surprise me either; I don't think we've seen him near to what he is capable of and Donaire should most definately bring it out of him.
I wouldn't mind Rigo vs Vic but I believe will be the same outcome of Vic vs donaire, Vic is just wayyyy to open for Rigo
