As the title suggests. Back in November everyone wanted to see Pac May (and I still do btw) but now that this isn't happening, why have the calls for Pacman to give Marquez his (fully deserved!) rematch stopped??

Wasn't that the only fight Arum said he would go for if Pac-May didn't happen?

Yes exactly ! Just goes to show, and Arum knows this, that time is the best healer and also what causes people to forget!

No one sane gets sick of a close tough fight, that's where you get your money's worth. What would you rather see?, a quick blow-out?

I do like pac, and he as has done some amazing things, and looked great doing it. I recognise it has been against people suited to his style and/or at catch weights but still that doesn't mean that simply anyone could achieve stoppages over oscar, hatton, cotto etc

    However....

fighting mosely, marquez (who i believed he thought wouldn't be as impressive at the weight) and now going for bradley or peterson i just cant accept...

I feel he was truly surprised at how marquez performed and thats why the rematch calls have gone quiet from their front despite the fact that it would do great numbers, more than pac peterson or pac bradley would imo

Because Manny will get beaten up again and will get the decision.

as far as i'm concerned the score needs to be settled between marquez and pacquiao. an immediate rematch might not be an absolute necessity as they both have options, but it needs to be done at some point. not one of the three fights staged between them was lackluster, or a clear win, loss or draw. a 4th fight needs to happen.

It's the only Pacquiao fight that I'd be even moderately interested in if he doesn't fight Floyd.

An immediate rematch needs to happen imo. Did you see how Marquez performed in the last 2 rounds of their trilogy? Delaying the rematch would be seen as waiting it out for Marquez to age
