Unfortunately Manc is correct. No home bred undisputed world champs. Only imports who were trained elsewhere decided to base themselves in Australia. Boxing in Australia is a niche sport. It ranks behind soccer, netball, rugby, league, afl, snooker, tennis, ping pong, ball room dancing, water sking, surfing, swimming, horse riding ... **** it every damn well known and unknown sport. The participation rates are atrocious.

No wonder we havent produced a world champ and probably wont. Our bright hope was The Man but his somewhat faded away at the moment.
