    That sucks mate... its the luck of the draw this time of year, unfortunately. Boxing isn't really big in Jan/Feb when its competing with NFL,NBA,NHL and nowadays, MMA... and so forth. So some of these fights scheduled for Jan/Feb will be postponed and/or cancelled for later on in April/May, when NFL season is over.

    I hope for your sake this fight is salvageable, if it's indeed as bad as Bertos camp are claiming, the fight is gonna be off.. Lucas Matthysse or someone like that might be able to step in for Berto, which by the way.. would be an awesome fight too.

    Seriously tho, I really hope Matthysse steps in for Berto if the the fight is off. That would be an awesome fight.

    How does Matthysse handle the extra weight?, what happens to Ortiz when he's hit big again?, how will Matthysse handle Ortiz' power?

    I think Matthysse is more of a sniper/sharpshooter than Maidana is, and more defensively responsible. I think Victor would get put out if he's unable to force his 165lbs of will on Matthysse.. but that's just me.
