I know it probably couldn't happen immediately but give a proper time frame to train and promote the fight. They both are backed by HBO and share the same promoter, so it makes the fight easy to make.
Think its only a matter of time before we see this fight, I expect Ortiz to stop him if they ever meet
I don't know about Ortiz stopping him ... I think Khan is the better boxer and outboxes him down the stretch. It'll be a great fight ... Ortiz will be forced to box and his aggression will be used against him.
Don't believe in Ortiz, he ran into Berto who was suspect himself (in addition to underestimating Ortiz) and got the biggest and only win of his career. He's not a great boxer, can't fight going backwards, and has a questionable chin. His left hand has no power and he's not a world beater.
Khan lost to Peterson. Ortiz was robbed against Peterson. Khan edged maidana. Ortiz quit against maidana. It'd be a good fight but khan tends to fade at the end of fights.
