Rubio can hurt him, but Chavez has the crisper punches and the better defensive movement.

I hope your wrong, but you might be right. Jr. has grown into a very good figther, which I didn't really think he had in him.

Anyway, maybe a miracle will happen & Jr. will end up like his old man...:!:

I agree. People give him a hard time because of his extensive upbringing in the sport but he is no joke. I think he beats Rubio and may even win some people over with the way he does it.

Chavez Jr. is making a complete joke out of the WBC middleweight title, that's pointless? :patsch

Chavez Jr should be ashamed of parading around with Martinez' belt

I hope Rubio wins so we can have a Rubio-Martinez clash in the future, two guys that really earned his right to the belt

lol, Sergio will be the first boxer that will need to win a title back without losing it in the ring first

Its the WBC that is doing it to themselves. I wouldn't expect Jr to drop the belt
unless given a real ultimatum that will be enforced.
It might be nice if he came out and demanded a fight with Sergio
    but it still wouldn't happen.

I ****ing hope so, that would teach him for ducking Martinez, and then "POW!" he loses anyways.

My prediction is that it will be really close, as Chavez oaf ass will come in like 30 pounds bigger than Rubio...

Rubio will out box him only to be robbed. :good

  11. Anything to see Chavez Sr. get all womanly and start cursing "Richar Steel is es un facker!!!"

He was always a poor sore loser.

If only he wasn't with TOP RANK, Mayweather could go up there and grab the belt, Gatti style.

Hell, Pacquiao should go up there and grab that easy title but that won't happen either.

As much as i'd like Rubio to win...

If Chavez connects at least one solid hit, hard enough to freeze Rubio and put him on the defensive for a moment, Chavez wins via bs stoppage, like he did against Manfredo

If the fight goes to the cards, it doesn't matter what actually happens in the ring, Chavez wins, most probably by UD like in the Zbik fight

So basically this is an uphill battle for Rubio

He'll be fighting 5 men this saturday, Chavez, the referee and the judges
