    Calzaghe
    Benn
    Eubank
    Froch
    Reid
    Wharton
    Woodhall

There is a case for Reid above Froch but i'd have carl above him personnally.

I agree about Reid, during his prime he was a very good fighter. He gave Calzaghe a very tough fight and only lost to Branco in his next fight because he hadn't fought for 16 months and was rusty as hell. He definitely beat Ottke and should have become a 2 time champ had he not been robbed.

I don't think Woodhall achieved enough to rank above Froch though.

Also Dean Francis deserves a mention. He looked like he could have competed at a good level had he not injured his shoulder and become a one handed fighter for the remainder of his career.

Ottke's style doesn't match up well against Dirrell..
Ottke is not the type of guy who can cut off the ring very well or is very aggresive.. You have to pressure Dirrell to beat him, and i don't see Ottke doing that..

And if we have to use your boxrec logic, then Reid didn't beat Ottke either.

Robin Reid was actually a very good all round fighter with very good power. He gave Calzaghe a close fight and was a legitamate SM world titlist. He got robbed against Otke so would have been multiple.

I like Froch but he is a little overrated. He is much too slow for world level and would have been punished by the top 3 UK fighters.

 How do you define 'World level' becuase I'm pretty sure being 2 time champion, fighting in multiple world title fights, beating Dirrell, Abraham, Pascal, Johnson and Taylor would constitute operating at 'World level'

I wouldn't even bother mate. There's a clear anti-Froch agenda at play here and in other threads today. When people make threads with clear agendas, the bandwagon jumpers will be out in force.Same names consistently appear to slaughter Froch, fairly predictable.

I think due to styles Kessler would beat Ottke, the rest (and I know Ward butted Kessler to defeat) im not so sure about. Ottke was alot faster than Ward and would have kept Ward outside, ward lost about 4 rounds to the very slow Froch. Ottke I think would outbox him.
The rest, I cant believe you think would beat Ottke, they have done nothing at the weight compared to Ottke a unified champ at the weight

Dean Francis was an excellent fighter and I was thinking about him when I posted.
I think Francis would have been a world champ had it not been for the injury which ruined him.
I always wanted to see Francis against Reid before Francis injury. Think that would have been a good match up. I did a thread for that match up a while ago in the British forum

Who has Dirrell beaten at SMW? Abraham who cant compete at the weight and Oganov. Thats not great is it.
