Mayweather will break Cotto down and beat him into submission. Cotto does not have the defensive skills or physical tools to avoid Floyd's laser accurate punches. If Floyd fights like he did against Ortiz, Cotto will not see the final bell. I've always wanted to see this fight and although it would have looked different in '07 (Floyd being the matador, Cotto being the bull) the result would have always been a Floyd victory. The difference now is that Floyd is fighting more aggressive and Cotto can't take damage anymore. Cotto may not bounce back from this beating.

I agree, it will appear competetive early, but Cotto will be taking horrible punishment by the end.

Cottos best hope is to be polite and respectful for floyd and hope floyd takes that into account in the fight and lets him off lightly

Pac chased Cotto around the ring ineffectively from round 6 on. Mayweather knows how to cutoff the ring and Cotto will not be able to spoil the action. Mayweather will punish him down the stretch.

I'm not saying Cotto didn't get hit, but he ran away from pac a lot and it wasn't very eventful.

When your on your deathbed will you think back at the great life you have led or will you just remember all the thousands of times you wrote the highly intelligent phrase "Void is Void"?!!!

    Cotto is no Gatti.

FLoyd has only stopped 2 guys in the last 5 years. One by sucker punch.

No, Gatti was a tougher man who would never quit.

Ricky Hatton (Never been stopped, stopped by floyd)
Juan Manuel Marquez (never been stopped)
    Shane Mosley (never been stopped)
Victor Ortiz (Stopped once, and again by floyd)
Miguel Cotto (Stopped TWICE, more than any other Floyd opponent in recent memory, will be stopped by floyd)

Ricky Hatton and Victor Ortiz, or Shane Mosley and JMM

ask yourself which group Cotto is more likely to join............:think

i agree; i see floyd dishing out a one sided hiding from rd 5 onwards.
still, it will be a good fight in the early rounds (i hope)....
