Just read a report that Frank Maloney made a formal offer to Fury's camp to fight Price, with a deadline of end of play today to accept terms, if not he will look to take Price Stateside for his next bout. Fury has until the end of May to defend his British title, but Maloney is looking at a date around the end of April for the proposed fight to take place.

    Anyone think this will happen?

I hope it does, but I doubt it.... Fury's camp has been eerily quiet.
I think Fury will duck Price. I'm hoping I'm wrong though and Fury finally surfaces to accept David's challenge.

Mick Hennessy is currently sitting in an office, with a large brandy in front of him, the door locked, and a wide eyed look on his face, muttering "what do i do, what do i do?"

Its a very risky fight for Mick to accept, hopefully he can get Tyson a decent name or another top10 rated opponent.

I think this fight is too soon for both of them, it would be much better in a year or 2.

Its not impossible that will happen but I'd rather see this fight when both of them are more experienced & at a similar level in their careers.

This is a bit like DeGale-Groves where domestic rivals fight too soon imo

Hey, Mick Hennessy here I've just log into this Manning character's account to quash these rumours of the pointless Price vs Fury fight.

Price is a possible opponent for sure but in fairness we have other mega fights that we are looking at for Fury. There's only one logical opponent for Fury to face should the Price fight not materialize and that is none other than Channel 5's other big huge sports star and not to mention a huge star with Desmond's Daily Star as well. Someone who brings in huge tv viewers, huge viewers = huge wonga. Step forward none other than Alex Reid.

A-list ratings winner Alex is now engaged to British superstar Chantelle-Houghton who also won Big Brother.

Alex KOing his opponent yet again.

The fight it's self will prove to be a real tough fight against another dangerous unbeaten opponent that will capture the public's imagination. We expect Alex to be dangerous and will take the fight 100% seriously.
