Cotto can make it a close fight...

It very may well be close, but Cotto busts up extremely easily.

Even his face after the Margo II fight where he was left relatively untouched was very swollen.

Imagine 12 or so rounds of straight rights directly on the button, he'll start to puff up pretty badly

When he starts to bleed/bruise it seems to really get to him aswell and he starts looking fearful/shaken

 

Handspeed, Skill set, Selection of punches, Ring IQ, Wear and tear taken, Footwork, Tricks of the trade. Floyd wins hands down in every department.

Cotto only wins in power and because he is at his natural weight.

Having said that i hope you are right. I like Cotto and want to see a competitive fight

I can see this fight being somewhat reminiscent of Floyd vs DLH, except that he will end up walking Cotto down and by the 8th or so round we'll begin to see that look on Miguels face

I kinda agree. I agree that Cotto is very good skill wise, great jab and probably the strongest fighter Floyd has ever faced.

Now where I disagree is that Floyd has slowed down. Theres nothing at all to show that Floyd has slowed down. people want to point that he stands his ground now but hes doing that because he knows nobody can outbox him so why move???

Also, to say Mayweather cant bust up Cotto is ridiculous!!! Mayweather has only had 1 close fight his whole career and that was 11 years ago. Cottos defense has always been suspect his whole career and Mayweather is the most accurate boxer now and probably of all time.

I got Mayweather by Tko 10, Cotto wins 1 or 2 rounds. to much speed

 

cotto is a dead man walking. he is always a combo from ***** street. wants he starts riding down ***** street there is no pulling over are changing routes. cotto is a boxer puncher and i think he will do ok, but i still see the fight one sided. floyd does not run around because it uses energy you dont have to use. he's to comfy in the ring to be running from these clowns. you might see the track shoes again if he fights mw champ.

 

Cotto fans have to come to reality. I have always loved Cotto as a fighter and as a person, but he has no chance to win this fight. He will end up exactly like Arturo Gatti did (RIP). I guarantee that he will be stopped, and he will retire. Wish you the best Miguel Cotto. I hope by some miracle you win this fight. You are always a class act.:----------(
