It never even got that far into negotiations, according to Penagaricano and Koncz. They both couldn't agree on the weight and that was it.

Mayweather did duck Pacquiao, and has always ducked Pacquiao. He uses Pacquiao's name because he knows the media eats it up. Pacquiao's name never made it to the list of possible opponents for Mayweather for the May 5 fight, that was sent to MGM.

Koncz went to his gym, it was Koncz who put them on the phone together. Mayweather even admits to talking to Koncz.

Mayweather DECLINED 50-50, 55-45% to the winner.

Mayweather knows Cotto is an easy pay day. Pacquiao brings twice what Cotto brings in legacy and money. It's a cherry pick fight.

 

I said from day one this was PUBLICITY STUNT. ANYTIME Mayweather says Pacquiao's name people EAT IT UP. Mayweather was NEVER serious about fighting Pacquiao. Cotto is an EASY PAY DAY.

 

When is Pacmans contract with Arum up? Pacquiao first accepted less, now he wants 50/50, then once that's met its going to be something else.

Style wise Cotto is a harder fight for Floyd-

Floyd considers Pac's style easy-..it looks easy too-all those sloppy combos and sloppy footwork-

pac said he would take less thinking that the time and place can be negotiated, but mayweather already booked may 5 at MGM. so asking for 50/50 or 45/55 for the winner is not a fair deal and floyd ducked it

 

He was thinking Cotto because Pacquiao was clearly ducking and there was little change of that fight taking place.
