No disrespect to the fella....he went to Germany early on and fought Ottke blah blah.....still remember him laying out on the canvas and the camera sees him open his eyes.......then close em. After the Green fight it was just a pisstake, though it seems he is finally gonna progress......as he is off to America and is lined up or could be for some decent fights....and ayes he got skills.....hence the general frustration. Regarding John Simpson, i hope and wish he continues, was told it (Burns bill) was cancelled, dont know why.......i dont ask or assume. BUT for a fighter and yes a WARRIOR.......to end such a career and an unjust one at that in a 200 (maybe) filled York Hall just aint on. Yeah am having a whinge etc but seriously, why was it the York Hall ? Why not Selbys home town and sports centre as is the usual.....yep it grates me. Big mistake on Vorrens part ? Was it already booked yet surplus to requirements ? Did he expect John to bring hundreds down a cpl weeks before xmas on a Wednesday night ? Ok whinge etc over.......kinda.

There is know way he will box on the under card of burns that's what I'm saying your not only one that gets inside info in boxing he does have good friends out side boxing gyms and john needs a break from it for a bit
billy i heard it from john himself.. i duno maybe he just needs a break away from it , i hope he does and this is just a phase for him but it doesnt help when hes fought his way through everything and hes had no luck against him... i hope for his own sake he takes a break and realizes he has much more to give
Sounds like John is having a good think about things. Hopefully he makes the right decision for himself and regardless of what he decides I wish him all the best. Every decent Boxing fan in Britain looks forward to a John Simpson fight!
