Martirosyan immediately scores a first round knockdown, just drowning Lowry in punches: right hands over the top and left hooks to the side of the face. Wow. Lowry beats the count, but is stumbling around the ring as Martirosyan tags him repeatedly with the same punches. Lowry backs off, several paces away from Martirosyan and then dives in with a high right hand before assembling a guard and leaning against him. Lots of moving in and tying up by Lowry. Martirosyan fixates his jab on Lowry's jaw and sets up a BIG right hand through the guard. Lowry holds some more. Big 1-2 by Martirosyan, pushing Lowry to the ropes. Lowry almost loses his balance tipping back against the ropes to lean into them, and then leaning forward against Martirosyan. Jab to the top of the skull by Martirosyan. Hard right hand.
