    Nah, if he got the decision I'd really think it was a robbery although it was close, closer than I thought it would be that is (I thought that Rubio wouldn't take any rounds and only chance was KO).

    Like I said, close fight, not a robbery could have gone either way but watching and scoring it tonight I thought Rubio did enough to win it, Chavez Jr. in a lot of the rounds was trying to nick them in the last 30 seconds when Rubio had done the better work for the majority of the round.

    Either way, Martinez would slaughter him.

    :think You usually post some pretty good scorecards, I just didn't see Chavez winning, I saw Rubio clearly taking the first rounds :think, we must have watched the fight from different angles, and maybe the 10 seconds or so I missed for 4 or 5 rounds were valuable seconds where Jr dominated Rubio

    I actually think Jr is underrated, still has an ugly style and I don't enjoy watching his fight, but I agree, Rubio won 8-4, most rounds I can give Chavez are 5.

    I'll rewatch to see if i can give Chavez jr a few more rounds, and maybe see why so many people saw him winning, but it won't happen, once I see a fight once, that's it, even if I watch them 3, 5 times the aotcome never changes.

    i had it 115-113 for chavez, which means that chavez will never be elite.

    Rubio won from what I saw, I doubt I can watch any more Boxing,

    maybe if I watch the fight in slow motion? In Mexican TV, Tv Azteca, Televisa? I watched it on some Russians TV channel, those Russiasn probably had something against Jr, the great Chavez, probably destroyed one of their up and coming fighters back in the 80's

    Exactly. 7-5 is out of line.

    At least it wasn't as bad as the one judge in the first fight.

    Rubio won some more rounds than the HBO commentators would have led you to believe, but no, he didn't win the fight.

    By the way, the broadcasters' moments of silence in that fight always seemed to come during the moments Rubio was doing his best work. Coincidence? I think not. :verysad

    I noticed that too, the bias was clear. It's a fact Chávez won, though.
