So JCC has finally become a man, and is looking to step up. A much improved performance last night, Roach is obviously working out for him but still not convinced.

However, at least he understands that he needs to bigger fights and stated he wans Martnez next or Cotto/Margo. Well Cotto isnt going to happen next due May fight with FMJ, Martinez has got his fight in March and Margo I believe is available but feel he should hang up his gloves.

Personally, feel that they will get Margo in next, work on the eye for a couple of rounds and take a UD or late stoppage due to damage to the eye. Maybe Cotto after that, hit him comming off a defeat to FMJ, will still be tough but he is just so big at the moment, not sure if Cotto will be able to damage him and wait for Martinez to age another year. But the other question is, will he continue to be able to make the weight for another year or so...

Who do you feel will be next and how would you see the fights playing out with the three JCC picks?

It makes sense that Arum would put him into a zero risk fight with Margarito. Didn't Margo already say he's fighting JCC next?

He doesn't actually want Martinez next. He'll take on Margarito in an absolute farce then "step up" against Andy Lee if Cotto's not available.

Even his call-out of Martinez was bollocks. Chavez: "I want Sergio Martinez next!*"

*- "As long as Bob Arum says it's okay"

Margarito at MW. :-( More Arum inhouse fighting BS.
A past-prime fighter who's sucess was based on bullying smaller oppoents at WW. That strategy doesn't even work at Junior Middleweight. Just inmagine what Kirkland and Angulo would do with (today's) Margarito.

^^This, sadly. Cheater or not, his health is being compromised by Arum.

What's up with Chavez, in the same sentence he made look himself like a man with balls (naming Sergio) and then like a blatant cherrypicker (Cotto or Margo)

Dude comes into the ring at 180. I never want to see him in the ring with Cotto.

He'll fight Marg next. By the time the WBC actually try and force him to fight Martinez, he'll probably move up in weight. He looks far too big to fight Cotto or Alvarez (Marg too for that matter but a lot of fans will happily watch him get destroyed again).

I really don't know what Arum does with Chavez at 168 though.
