He had a brilliant gameplan and he executed it to perfection. He fought in circles and kept turning diaz all night. When his back hit the cage he got around the corner everytime. Chopping at his leg for two rounds slowed diaz down and it opened everything up in rounds 3 and 4. By round 4 diaz stocton slap was hitting nothing but air and he was frustrated. Diaz was so frustrated he couldnt hit condit he abandoned boxing all together and was trying to land kicks. I know alot of fans just wanted to see two guys in the center of the octagon beating each others brains out but as a fighter and coach myself i can appreciate the skill it took to embarass diaz like that. 4 rounds to 1 was the right scorecards and "unlike boxing" they rewarded the right guy the decision. People who thought diaz won were either a)racist or b) dont know **** about the mma scoring system.

CC's Thai Boxing was the difference.

Him and Dominick Cruz are great at what they do.

CC moved like Cruz. I don't mind people engaging 100% but I think the issue is Condit didn't seem to fight a high enough pace fight. Cruz is 100mph so people don't mind his approach so much. I never felt that Condit got out of gear 2.

People are going crazy about it, but it was effective striking. Angles, moving off, countering and not getting stuck on the cage (where a lot of Diaz's opponents have come unstuck).

Got the job done, albeit in a less exciting fashion than we've seen him before.

What did you ask Santa for Christmas? A box set of Wlad Klitschko fights?

Agreed. Sick of whiny keyboard warriors, nobody is knocking out Diaz. It was a beautiful and effective display.

Dominic is a bantamweight. I know Condit didnt fight at full pace, but Id be hard pressed to think of a WW who can match Cruz in that department to be fair when others in his own division are not up to speed

I wouldnt call it brilliant. Brilliant is domination. Look at his face. For the amount of time hes moving away he got hit far too much. He was lucky Diaz fights in one speed in that he really is not explsive.

I picked Condit but lets be honest, he fought not to his strength and was lucky Diaz is a plodder.

I thought Diaz should've been given round 5. I have no problem with Condit winning though. He showed how limited Diaz is. Did you see Diaz's takedown attempts??? Awful. Except the one TD in rd 5.

Brilliant my arse. Boring as hell more like. Stink out the joint effective but boring as hell. You think that was brilliant you probably think Wlad jabbing and clinching his way to UDs over greatly overmatched foes is brilliant too

Greg Jackson ruined fan friendly GSP. He dont care about exciting performances, only the W. What should have been a FOTY and showcase for MMA was a stinker due to cowardly tactics from Greg and his protege

**** Condit, **** Greg Jackson, and **** Wlad Klitschko

How can you give a guy the Ultimate FIGHTING Championship belt to a guy who avoided fight for 5 rounds? This is BS! I don't want to see this **** anymore. You could clearly see that one guy is scared of the other guy.

Agreed, but his pace wasn't impressive at all. If any WW could match Cruz pace it would be Diaz and Condit. Condits stamina is sick, he just didn't engage.
