Obsessed Manning? Unlikeable as he may be Haye would smash the blown up light heavy Adamek. I see the fight going the same way as Ruiz vs Haye, Except Adamek doesn't get up after the knockdowns.
I do think its a good fight to make, if Haye stops him in a few rounds and looks good doing so, he gets a bit of hype going again, the performance he put in against Wlad is still fresh in peoples minds, this would repair some of the damage at least.
I suspect deep down Haye knows what his actual level is despite his constant bold statements which are to the contrary. I don't think he wants to be involved in a genuine 50/50 fight where he could get badly exposed by someone well below the standard of a Klitschko.
Your obsession with Haye is not healthy Manning, don't let it destroy you, it will be voodoo dolls and witchcraft next. This content is protected
Not really obsessed, it's just a story from today involving one of England's top heavyweights possibly taking part in a match up in the premier division of the sport so decided to stick it in the British section, what's the big deal? This content is protected
still think Haye has a good few performances left although i doubt he would comeback against Adamek, unknown outside of the boxing world. Haye would steamroll him in 6.
Adamek is a crap at heavyweight and only a very good cruiserweight. Guy has no power whatsoever, no speed at heavyweight, his chin which was very good previously is shaky at heavy, he has nothing going for him. Not to mention his straight forward up and down style is made for Haye considering he's the smaller man naturally and likes to eat punches. The only thing I saw in Adamek that was winning him fights at heavy is using speed and activity against guys that are not good enough to impose their advantages. He never dominated or looked particularly good, just feather dusted his way through. Even in his less than convincing best win against Arreola he was the only guy getting hurt in the fight.
Manning, you slag Haye off at every chance available, a lot of it justified I might add but Haye ducking Adamek?? come off it, that's someone with an agenda. Oh and we are all Haye nuthuggers because we disagree with you.
I think it's a reflection of how poor the division is, when a smaller fighter can lose all his strengths, adapt his style tremendously and still be considered a top 5 fighter. Adamek went from being a granite chinned warrior to a back foot boxer and still managed to do fairly well. That says a lot about the division. That said, he beat Arreola when Arreola was fat, broke one hand and damaged the other. He only just beat him too. If they fought in the next couple of months, Arreola would knock Adamek out in around 4 or 5 rounds.
If he wants to come back then Adamek is a good fight. Decent boxer but nothing inspiring about his work. Hayes speed and power should be too much.
