Just as I expected, you all vote for Frampton because Quigg had a tough fight with Arthur. You should never do a complete turn around on your picks, just because the Quigg had one difficult bout.

    Frampton will take him apart.

His amateur pedigree will see him through this fight.

Beating Jason Booth (when you look like a MW and he looks like a 9 year old) doesn't really mean much.

The way people change their opinion over fighters after 1 either impressive or sub standard fight on ESB is classic (though admittedly not so much with this fight as the general opinion before was always to my mind that it would be close). I try never to be swayed either way by one fight as that old saying 'Styles makes fights' is a true one and can sometimes distort the bigger picture.

Regarding this fight, I chose Frampton in the original poll and nothing's changed my mind on that. Likewise if Quigg had stopped Arthur in the 1st and Frampton had struggled badly vs Hughes, I'd still be backing Frampton if this fight were to come off.

I be honest lads, i re watched the Booth fight and felt he has a lot of flaws. So does Frampton but Quigg's a worry for me. I got impression saturday night we've got another John Murray on our hands. A kid that is heading down the road of 'grinding it out' each and every time.

Anyone who can compare Quigg to Murray needs there eyes testing...

Quiggs a quality operator and will beat Frampton quite handily i reckon . Quigg knew he made a mistake walking onto a straight one from Arthur but he will learn for that mistake. Quigg was landing good body shot combinations handily IMO - despite the knockdown it was a good performance ...

Said he felt the same way but felt it would still be a close fight..

You say that then say he walked in straight lines, Murray does that. Murray also doesn't move head nor did Scott.

Just because he has better punch variation doesn't mean he's not heading down wrong road. No one's saying he's like Murray style wise but he's starting to follow that path of using his physical strength to maul and dispose guys. That's not a good look at domestic level because at a higher level he will struggle doing that..

    Frampton win for me, predictably.

With good head and lateral movement, I think Quigg will find Frampton difficult to pin down. And Quigg's defence - when faced with an opponent whose power he respects - well, he can have a tendency to cover up and wait for the storm to pass; which could see Carl take rounds simply by maintaining a high work rate. And, like others, I think Quigg's body will take a beating.

Scott does look seriously strong, though, so I don't see a stoppage.

I've said it before the Arthur fight that Quigg is overrated. People looked too much into his destruction of Booth. That version of Booth, who was a fine boxer in his day, is little better than a journeyman.

Quigg is very big and strong at the weight but his boxing fundamentals are far inferior to Frampton.

This. It was the same when Frampton had an off night against Turley.

I think it might be close but I feel with Framptons footwork and power he has the edge. Frampton has not been tested though. A fight with Arthur next would be great or someone like Ricky Owen or Ryan Walsh might be a decent test for either next!

What a turnaround. Literally went from a 50-50 fight to more than 75% in favour of Carlos Frampton.

Shocked. I actually thought Quigg performed better than Frampton in each of the last fights. In my view Arthur was far more of a live opponent than Hughes and Quigg showed the ability to adapt.
Also really impressed with how efficient Quigg is, he wastes nothing and yes he got caught with a shot in the 4th, but apart from the he got caught with little.
