This macho like love for Diaz is ironic, and slightly homosexual as people are living there lives through said athlete because it appeals to some dark hidden rage of theirs or as if they too are 'hard' because they like Diaz.

Sentences such as 'I love the way Diaz dont give a **** he just moves forward and wants to fight dude, yeah he is a bad ass, yeah that Condit is a ***** man, dude, yeah'.

The reality is each fighter fights to there best means, or what they consider best for them...Ali didnt go head first with Liston now did he? Foreman didnt start to dance and flick the jab?

Of course Diaz moves forward, he is tough, strong for his weight, durable and has good stand up skills...if Condit engaged in Diaz style of fighting he would lose. Does anyone seriously think Diaz would just come forward if he fought Junior Dos Santos? No he would employ a different tactic, he knows he couldnt take the power punches.

Every fighters fights to there strength.

Evander Holyfield held on for dear life every time Tyson got close in, very frustrating but in the end he did what he needed to do to win.

GPS sits on top of guys without really trying to finish...it suits him, he feels comfortable with it...of course we want exciting fights, we want people to stand and trade...or have huge excitement but this slandering of Condit is way overboard and the man love for Diaz is unusual.

2 great fighters, it could have gone either way & it went to Condit... I have no problem with his tactics/strategy, it gave him the best chance to beat Diaz, the only other options were go toe to toe or take it to ground, both of those options I`d strongly favour Diaz so from Condit`s POV he did the right thing.

I gave Diaz rds 1 & 2, gave Condit 3 & 4... & thought rd 5 was an even rd, a draw would have been the fairest result as no fighter won clearly but I`m not gonna say robbery in a razor close fight just because my fav fighter didn`t get the decision, thats life, Nick is still the man & fighter I thought he was, nothing has changed there, the guys a warrior.

Diaz was no where near winning the fight, Condit adopted perfect tactics making Diaz look pretty poor and one dimensional.

So....Condit is a ***** for not fighting to Nick's strengths and utilising his own...

Let's go back to Diaz's last fight.

After standing in the middle of the cage and ''fighting'' in round one, 6ft tall with a 76 inch reach Diaz, ''the best boxer in MMA', was given a lesson in standing toe to toe and fighting by little old 5ft 9 70 inch reach natural 155 lbder BJ Penn. Penn landed 69% of the strikes he threw in that round, with Diaz a measly 42% with both having throw the same number of strikes. As a side note, Diaz's numbers in round 1 were greatly improve by landing 8 out of 8 ''***** leg kicks'' on Penn

So on too round two. Instead of being a true warrior and duking it out in the centre of the octagon, 6 ft tall, 76inch reach Diaz, then proceeds to push Penn against the cage for the 1st half of the round, peppering him with strikes, until this display of wall and stall sapped the 5 ft 9 155er Penn of his notoriously dubious stamina and strength. Only then did he proceed in solidifying his reputation to ''stand and bang'' in the centre of the cage with an exhausted Penn

Is that game planning, or being a ***** against someone half your size? Cause to me, wall and stalling after being comprehensively out boxed in the centre of the cage by a shorter, older, and lighter man is a more blatant display of ***gitory than using lateral movement, maintaining your distance, and out landing the ''best boxer in MMA'' by using every tool a Muay Thai fighter has in his arsenal

    25 minutes - 1:26 = 23:34 minutes not running eh?

Diaz held little old Penn against the cage for longer with 10 minutes less on the clock. 15 minutes less if you add the 5 minutes of the 1st round where Penn went toe to toe and out struck Nick :patsch
