I'm fine with it I mean Nonito shouldn't go after the sharks or big fish when he's still testing the waters at this new weight. Nonito has a big frame tho he can be successful up to 130 I believe, but that remains to be seen. No one not even Nonito should look past Arce tho. Arce hasn't looked spectacular recently, but underestimate him for one second he'll bring you back to earth. Arce wasn't supposed to beat WVJr look what happened. Nonito should win this, but it shouldn't disappoint and will be fun while.it lasts. If Rafa Marquez could make 122 and face Rigo that would be a great.technical fight. Rafa is still holding it down when he should be retired. He had Lopez ready to go only to be saved by ref and many think he beat Nishioka.

There is a reason why Donaire looked unspectacular in his last 2 fights. His opponents went into extreme defensive mindset.

True, Narvaez and WVJr were defensive minded, and Nonito did hurt his hand, but Jr was fighting back. Sergio and Nonito are my favorite fighters, but you gotta give credit to their opponents too. Even Nonito postfight said the fight was harder than expected because of the move up. He looked alil banged up for Jr to have just fought "defensive minded". Jrs jab had alot to do with it.

That's no excuse , it's NOT Nonito's oponents job to making look good , it's Nonito's job . Rigo may look " boring " when his oponents go on surviving mode yet he still manages to KO them (Ramos) Now : ! That's A boxer ! Peace .:deal

Former titlist and current titlist are mismatches for a man in his first two fights at the weight?

You must regard donaire very highly.

It'll be for ring belt because nishioka is number 1 and nonito is top 5 p4p.

Vazquez won a vacant belt against Sonsona, who himself had never done anything at 122. Arce beat him in a massive upset, confirming that Vazquez was never much beyond a prospect. Whatever. Neither ever should have been regarded as highly as Nishioka nor any of the other top ranked Asians in the division.

Given how lightly I regard Vazquez and how absolutely everyone can see the favorable style match-up Arce presents to Donaire from a mile away, I can hold the opinion they're mismatches without having to view Donaire any higher than most people do.

Donaire's P4P status should have no bearing on whether it's a lineal bout or not. Arce and Vazquez Jr. do not make for a top 2 resume at 122 if Rigondeaux is still around.

This fight isnt competitve imo Arces afun fighter and comes to fight but hes very easy to hit and likely get stopped by Nonito. Still decent name on his resume then hopefully he fights a Mares,Rigo or Moreno.

As I said, you rate him higher than I do so fair play to you.

Beating wv2 and arce is about the same as beating rico imo. Both donaire and rigo are behind nishioka by quite a way.

Saludar would most likely wipe out the lower weights division in the next couple of years including Viloria.
