The kid is turning out to be quite a fighter. The first time I seen him was against John Duddy, and I can not help but think the sky is the limit for this kid. While his record is a bit bloated, people need to realize he has had no type of amateur career. I would love to see Chavez Jr-Martinez.

I'm a fan of his left hook to the body. One of the very best in the sport today, despite any other limitations he might have.

nope. I dont care what anyone says, every fight i have seen the guy in he looks feather fisted and lacking a killer instinct. I detest him for ducking sergio

No, not really. He's a decent fighter, but his attitude is what gets me. Like Khan, he has this entitlement mentality that makes him think he's better and more important than he actually is. I give him credit, he's come a long way, but he's not entitled to the respect he thinks he deserves. I still watch his fights, but give it a couple years and I may be a fan.

There's no doubt he's improved quite a lot, though

    Martinez can't beat a fighter w/Chavez style...
When Jr. beats Sergio people will come out with every excuse there is in the books.

Myself I can't wait for them to schedule this fight.

Hell no. I probably will never be a Chavez fan. When I watch him I just SMH because he is no where near his father. I just don't see an elite fighter when I watch him.

If Jr. were the best the sport has to offer, I would no longer watch.

Wake me up when he actually does something significant or impressive.

Yeah, I'm finding myself more and more into him. I'd definately be rooting for him if he fought Margarito, Cotto, or gasp...Martinez.

**** no. He's a limited fighter and doesn't even look that impressive (or powerful) with a 10+ lbs advantage over his opponent. Decent inside fighter but he'd be destroyed by a good technical boxer. Plus he's boring as **** to watch in my opinion. I don't see many reasons to be a fan.
