Now im a not a nut hugger nor am i a ***** but real recognizes real so look floyd was injured in the first firght and (like any other fighter) had trouble obviously....than offered castillo an immediate rematch and just destroyed him the 2nd time around so i dont see why ppl say "oh castillo had the blueprint to beat floyd" if he couldnt even implement that plan or blueprint in the 2nd fight with any success

    discuss.........

    Castillo Tapped that! / Thread

PS: I watched the fight over 10 times and I had Castillo winning everytime. Floyd did win the re-match clearly!

Being injured or winning in a rematch doesn't mean you didn't lose the first one. On some people's cards, Floyd lost the fight, so get used to hearing it. Floyd worked a different, better game-plan in the rematch, and Castillo relied far to much on the same things and didn't come in as consistent or tactically patient as he did the first time in applying his pressure.

Most observers thought Castillo won the first bout.

    I did too.

Floyd was lucky to get the nod. I wouldn't call it a robbery, but it was fairly clear.

That said, Floyd was injured (and had the flu), and left no doubt as to who was better in the rematch.

    No blueprint here.

and i agree to some degree maybe a draw at best but i dont think floyd get his just due for fighting injured and giving a close hell of a fight

floyd won all of the first five rounds clearly. the rest of the fight was close. i had it 7-5 mayweather. and the reason why people bring that fight up is because floyds career is so damn flawless they pick his closest most competetive fight and call it a robbery. its even funnier when the best knock down they can find is his glove barely tapping the canvas against Judah. give them a break, floyd haters dont have much to work with when it comes to criticizism :yep

:huh You've said nothing about their fist fight other then the hand injury. So why shold people NOT say Castillo beat Floyd if they saw it that way?

And no, Floyd did NOT destroy him in their second fight. Was clear, but close. Nothing "REAL" about that statement at all.

Castillo outworked Floyd in that fight and deserved the win. Floyd outclassed him in the rematch.

the same people that claim Floyd Vs. Castillo 1 was a robbery are the same people who think pac beat marquez clearly in the 3rd fight.

Didn't Lampley say that a good amount of ringside scorers had Floyd winning? I had Floyd winning 114-112. It was a real close fight.

I had it 113-113, it was a close fight that a lot of people think Floyd lost

He didnt "destroy" Castillo in the rematch

JLC fought a great fight the first time. The fight could have gone either way personally I scored it for PBF but a argument can be made for it being the other way. JLC is just the type of fighter that was simply hard to deal with. Tough relentless educated pressure fighter who loved to go to the body a true nightmare in his prime.

Floyd clear as day won 5 out of the first 6 rounds. So who is willing to say Castillo swept 7-12?
