In seventies they were cutting trees.Earnie Shavers said that this kind of training helps him to develop his punching power.Do you believe that Peter is harder hitter than Earnie Shavers.Everyone talking Frazier fight with Foreman.Frazier was past his best and Foreman had his number.Peter is not George Foreman.Did you watch Joe Frazier vs Buster Mathis.Mathis was big, strong and fast heavyweight, probably stronger than Peter.I read in some article that Mathis was bench pressing 220 kg.Frazier KO him in 11 round.I just think that some people dont realize how good and strong was Joe Frazier in his prime 1968-1971.

Actually the thing about this competition is that if I remember correctly Frazier did the worst in pretty muchly all of the events...no joke...

BTW what I think is that Frazier outboxes him pretty easy....but if gets caught with something good could be put out (or probably just knocked down...will see if he could recover)

Fraziers got the talent but I never have felt he had the strongest chin (marginal I would say) and yes Peters got good power

It's outrageous to compare one with the other and not cause Smokin Joe passed away. Joe Frazier is the best left hooker in heavyweight bhistory and his performance against Ali in 71 peoves that he knew how to handle the best boxing skills and speed the heavyweight division has ever seen. Peter is simply a heavy handed former champ like Trevor Berbick, James Smith, Mike Weaver, Mike Dokes, Tim Witherspoon were in the past 80s.

Wow, do your home work,Frazier would slice Peters to ribbons just like he did to Ron Stander.
No comparrisons. Oh, and Foremans is without a doubht a hell of alot more powerful then Peter's. We are talking about two incredible forces of nature here. Thunder and lightening.

The only reason Peter even gets a mention is because he is a big man in one of the worst heavyweight divisions in history.
