What if? Malignaggi vs. Judah

No actually spinks is a somebody. A very talented boxer, a two division world champoin actually and the the formerly the undisputed welterwieght champoin of the world.

He was also on the verge of knocking out Cotto before cotto illegally fould him. So he did way better then malignaggi did, who was never in the fight.

 

The fight is pointless. Mosley is gonna chin check the glass jaw Judah. I know spinks is a 2 div champ. Howeverm he has wins over no elite fighters. Cotto's body punching,right hands and left hooks put Judah Down!

What Mosley is going to do to Judah is not the point. The point was that his resume is much better the Malignaggi's and against a common opponent (cotto) zab looked far better then malignaggi did.

Do you disagree? Did malignaggi look better against Cotto? Does he have a better win then Spinks on his record? Or better yet given the fact Ngoudjo just beat his ass but got robbed on the cards could he ever get a win over a guy like Spinks?

I would answer no to all of the above.

 

Coming from a Malignaggi fan, of course I want to see this fight.. he need some big fights to gain some respect..

No doubt. Malignaggi is a guy that talks so much **** that he will always be disrespected until he fights big fights. I would love to see fight happen. Although more to see him get served then anything else.

It would be a great fight and all the the pre-fight trash talk would definitely hype up this fight. They should also do a boxing countdown. Judah wins this fight though.

zab is a strange fighter he is niether a boxer nor a puncher more of a fighter with fast hands and slick movement. he has amazing handspeed one who would be ranked on a "who's fastest thread" . his boxing ability is based on his combo's. issueing the left uppercut and right hook. even though he doesnt really own a jab it's purely becuase it makes him time his opponant and doesnt back them up. he wants guys to go towards him.

stamina is an issue though. after 6 rounds his workrate grinds to almost a complete stop. but he can still punch and outslick you in these times. but i have to say in his last fight he looked still fresh in the later rounds even when he was tagged very hard by a right hook from davis in the middle rounds

he is very hard to fight head to head becuase of his awkward style. a southpaw slugger with quick hands. it's hard to choose how to fight him either to outbox him becuase of his size and his low workrate in the later rounds or to bully him becuase of his abilty to get chinned and way of always planting his feet making him very flatfooted and imobile at times.
baldomir won becuase he chose to bully him as much as possible and what happend is that zab was imobile and got tagged by more than enough shots but gave it back. the problem is his workrate is around 70 punches a round if you throw just as much you can out hustle him that sexactly what baldo did. then when he fought mayweather. money may was trying to outbox him but zab came out aggresive and beat him to the punch. only in the later roudns did mayweather win the rounds when zabs infamous stmina issues arose.

it's best not to comment on a record about how good a fighter he is. this is just basing your views via boxrec. use it as a tool not a guide.

Malignaggi is still young but his time is coming he's going to get some big money fights coming up.
