Good fight for both. Hatton must see Something in Munroe to make this fight. no way he risk Quigg otherwise

Hatton must have no faith in Munroe and it was all a plan to get Quigg's career to the next level. Signed him and put him in with an unknown south american to make him look good and get people talking about him, then face him against his golden boy Quigg to get his name in for a shot at the European champion.

Kind of what I was thinking, this is a step into the unknown for Quigg and I think it could be a bit much.I go with Munroe on a clear points win.Be a decent fight though.

Think rendall might be sorry he gave up the bin job now. Fancy quigg will take this one. Agree that hatton must see something in munroe to throw one of his top prospects at this stage

Munroe wide points decision for me. Reckon he would beat Frampton as well.

I reckon Rendall is all wrong for Frampton with his size and stamina, however i think Quigg perhaps has the cool head and jab to win a close UD, brilliant fight if it is made, big fan of of Munroe and would be thrilled to see him in such a big domestic clash.

Quigg won't be able to out muscle Munroe. He'll get a taste of his own medicine if they fight. I expect Munroe to beat him on points.

    hmmm
First off - Great match up:good

At first I agree with this line of thinking. Munroe will indeed give Quigg a taste of his own medicine in terms of size and strength.
However I don't think Munroe can't hurt Quigg with one punch.
In fact they will both have to attack each other and I think they both will.
I do think that Quigg will hurt Munroe though and I think Quigg has slightly more offensively. That said, If Munro can lean on Quigg and turn it into a scrap I can see Munroe also inflicting some damage. Could go either way but I think Quigg has more to offer coming forward. But every time I say that I remember Munroe can probably deal with Quiggs punishment easier than Quigg can deal with Munroes punishment.
I really can't say who the firm favourite would be.
It could potentially be the closest fight (in 122 division) and I can envisage a draw even:bbb

Quality British fight as it seems we aren't gonna get Quigg vs Frampton.

    Munroe will take this one.

  14. If Munroe is ''on'' I think he's beat Quigg relatively comfortably at this stage, probably by stoppage.

If he's off and takes about six months to get started he'd lose a close but clear(ish) decision.

Put it this way, if we see the Munroe that fought Nishioka he'd have way too much for Quigg (or anyone else in Europe). By a long way.

Munroe will stop him on body shots IMO.
