135 and he is pushing it, he has small arms and when his speed starts fading since he is already hitting the 30"s its gonna be hard to hang out with the big guys.I think 130 would be the ideal weight if he can stay healthy at SFW
Good point. Age isnt on his side. While incredibly unlikely I really do wish he could get a fight sorted out with either donaire or rios. any news on rios going up to jww? That would definitely kill any chances.
to the very top. world class, all time elite, 20 best ever boxer. you think I am kiddin? dude has atg athletic freak. he has it all for him, if he only had a trainer who would focus more on defending himself and overall tactic on how to beat different styles, he would be prety much unbeteable. the reflexes, the punching power, the speed, he has it all for him. I think he beats celestino, juanma and donaire. vs rigondeaux it would be tough to call, because rigo is much superior in technic, has euqal power and is an athletic freak himself.
I dont disagree. In my opinion the guy is one of, if not the most electrifying boxer at the moment. The title is a bit confusing. I'm asking about the highest weight he can achieve.
Gamboa is one of my favorite fighters right now and I think he has the potential to be a great fighter, however he is already a bit bulky for his division. I think he could go as high as 140 but I think the highest he should go is lightweight.
140 is the general consensus and i agree. The guy has a physique like no other among the featherweights, its just a matter of the fact that he's not getting any younger and unlike Rios doesn't have the majority of his career ahead of him.
135 and like cubano said that's pushing it, he's already short in statute with short reach at 126 imagine if he had to fight a guy like dlh or corrales at 135 :hat
