I find this all so amusing . . . "tards and Haters refuse to acknowledge that; Arum did not want this fight to happen and so it was not going to happen.

Do you believe it was even possible if Arum refuse to even think about it? After the events of the last few weeks how could it not be clearer that it has been Arum that has put road block up after road block.

Do you think Cotto or Alverez could pull off big numbers with Mayweather? Floyd and Manny both have proven track records. Anyone who denies their marketability is either lying to themselves or a damn fool:deal

There's a reason Cotto vs Mayweather finally happened as soon as Cotto left Arum. You can be gullible and blame one fighter for this fight not happening all you want, it's obvious that BOTH Arum and Mayweather find ways to complicate things. Even if Mayweather didn't demand more than 50/50, Arum already said NO to a May 5 date and wasn't considering anything else.

At least Mayweather is moving up to Cotto's weight to make it happen, he's not asking Cotto to make certain weight limits nor did he ask him to move down either. If you don't like it just watch Bradley move up to fight Pacquiao and all your problems are solved.

that's twisted son. the offer from pac was for the winner to take 55% loser takes 45%. That's fair. Mayweather didnt like it.

Ward and Froch are still new big names in boxing, they aren't as established as Mayweather or Pacquiao to make such figures yet.

Nonsense. They didn't agree to the date regardless of that. It's not like that offer would have made it happen.

Is because Floyd already have a fight - opponent, date, venue signed long before any new negotiation started.

At face value this seems like a logical compromise. However, it cannot work in reality because of the probability of corruption. If either man lost a close fight they could say that the other had a hand in the scoring. Given the amount of money involved it does increase the risk that the officiating could be compromised with this type of arrangement. I have a feeling that this Arums handy work to try and divert attention away from his actions. I think pac would take the fight but it will never happen until Bob seriously wants it to.

******* logic: floyd is ducking pac because he asked for a drug test that pac's camp said they wouldn't have a problem with, and offer less then 50% which pac said he would except.

    BUT

Pac wants the fight so much that he filed a lawsuit. they can't fight on the may 5 because of a cut that happened 7 months before. They have to wait on a stadium. The fight makes more sense in June when floyds in jail.

Yes after reading that I can't see how could think that floyd isn't ducking. I mean team
