I dont think Steward is talking to Arum about the winner of Duddy/Pavlik against Lee in September at all. I think it's all Steward hype. I will be very surprised if Lee challenges for the title this year.Although I respect Steward as a trainer[he maybe the best], but he has spoken some bull**** when in Ireland over the last few months about Lee. Claiming all sorts of nonsense. Steward actually claimed that Lee could be better than SUGAR RAY ROBINSON. I kid you not Shamrock, he actually claimed that.
**** mate, can anybody trust his mouth then? Great coach all the same, I have real respect for his coaching abilty. Just got to understand his hype I guess.
Hi Shamrock - Steward is both coach and manager to Lee - Eddy McLoughlin who states in Irish Abroad article he knows nothing about the deal is Duddy's manager - I agree with Ardy that there is a lot of spin and hype coming from Steward to big up his fighter with probably very little substance behind it.
yes, he has a pretty busy schedule, but not overly so considering his young age... another idea on andy; he is 6'2" w/ a decent frame....perhaps stewart feels a need to expidite his road to the MW title before he naturally grows into a SMW...andy has very little meat on those bones: i have meen him up close; and he WILL soon be fighting to say at 160# as he naturally fills out.
Hello boxing fan22, that anwser could take all day. But America's Andre Berto [welterweight] and Irelands Andy Lee look terrific prospects. I like Allan Green the American supermiddle.Amir Khan the English light-welterweight and South African welterweight Bongani Mwelase. Russian heavyweights Alexander Povertkin and Dennis Boytsov are looking good also. There is a lot more than that, but in my opinion, that's some of the better prospects.

Alo Kelly forced to retire This content is protected Finally, light heavyweight Alo Kelly has had to retire from professional boxing due to a detached retina in his right eye. He had an operation a few weeks ago, and while he should never box again, the good news is that some sight has returned to the eye. The injury was discovered while Kelly was training in Belfast in January. Its very sad. Alo was our first-born, so to speak, and Irish Ropes was built around him, said McLoughlin. Kelly, went 5-0-1 as a pro. ________________________________________ Terrible news - very sad to lose such a good prospect!
that is sad...he seemed a good prospect....and was a busy pro....i hope the eye fully recovers...good luck to him in his life after boxing
