$$$$$ No one else is going to pay Barrett the money he wants. He is known to the NZ crowd thanks to Tua so this will be the biggest money he can get anywhere at this point. Also Cameron wants it to show up Tua who KO'ed him in short order. I don't think his ego has recovered.

Thank you for following bro. Haumono is a solid fighter. Of course he still needs to accept as I'm sure he will. Was the only man to have stopped Michael Kirby before the Meehan fight & he has had legend trainers such as Angelo Dundee, Johnny Lewis, & his latest trainer also being a good one in Mark Jannson.
With this fight being ppv in the South Pacific we needed a guy who would sell along with put on a good show.
Fights not signed yet but looking close to done for my fight. Will keep everybody posted.
    :yep

that guy is just a sook.

so because he hasn't fought outside oz, he can't be any good. what a goose.

maybe this guy doesn't realise there r **** fighters in europe and usa u know, lol.

haumono's inactivity will be his problem vs welliver. i'm sure he would like a few more keep busy fights first.

do u know how hard it is for the top ranked guys to get a fight with another in a reasonable spot?

nobody wants to take any risk anymore.

meehan even offered his no.1 ranking to any of the contenders when valuev kept avoiding him. guess what, nobody took up the offer. they didn't want to fight a big ko guy that was his age, cause if they lost, it wouldn't look good.

if chauncy cannot get a top match-up, then fighting someone like haumono is a good test anyway for the time being.

just cause u may never heard of him doesn't mean he can't fight ok.

Solomon don't look like he's been tested. But I guess this is a great opportunity for him to prove his metal. Up there in age, but he's big and got a punch, so with Chauncey's titles on the line he should make a good go of it either way.

As for aiding Chuancey in his quest for a title shot, not likely. In fact, every fight against lower ranked guys is a step backwards IMO. Not b/c the guy aint no good, but b/c without the name recognition, it's doubtful the K2 would take notice.
Vitali has about 3 fights left in him IMO. And after that, prolly late 2013, Wlad will fully unify the division. That's gonna leave only one champ for guys like Welliver to make a run at. It literally takes his odds down by 50%.
It's best for guys like Chuancey to be fighting other rated guys, but like Meehan, no one wants to take the risk.
Hopefully another shutout against this Haumono will lead to bigger things. Maybe the winner of Barrett Cameron. That would potentially put Chuancey in the running for Wlad in 2013. :think
