Anyone here give Chisora much chance of beating Vitali ?

Unless Vitali's age and wear & tear has caught up with him then I don't see this even being competitive. I don't read too much into the Helenius fight as evidence that Chisora will give Vitali problems. First of all, Vitali is on a totally different level than Helenius. Secondly, I believe there's some truth to Helenius being hurt during the fight. I think his team have exaggerated it to same face, but still. Chisora was robbed of the decision though, I don't disagree about that.

I can see this being another Danny Williams-esque destruction job. Del Boy won't quit or look for a way out, so unless the ref or his corner wave it off he'll be knocked out.

Hes gonna do what every Klitschko challenger of the last 9 years has done, make massive noises turn up and and try his best to survive and not get too hurt.

Ha nice response i must admit. I just can't see del Boy winning. I feel some people are bigging up Chisora's chances because they want to make the fight seem more exciting for themselves.

I am actually looking forward to witnessing yet another Vital one sided beat-down.:D

Funny thing is, Chisora came in so out of shape it was laughable, yet he went the distance & Fury has never looked the same since the Chisora fight.

Vitali is old now, & time waits for no man. Someone is going to get lucky against Vitali, cos the clock is ticking...

I agree with what a few others have said...

Vitali is 40, has been injury prone and isn't the quickest HW about so I give Chisora a chance even though it would be a very slim one.

I think Chisora will go over there and have a go and who knows, it could be one of those nights when age catches up with Vitali.

it's a really tough ask though, i hope whatever happens he gives a great account of himself and i will have my fingers crossed for a major shock.

I think there's too much hype surrounding this fight on Box Nation! but equally not enough promotion on other channels... Box Nation needs to advertise on other channels during boxing events. like Channel 5, ESPN, Eurosport etc... you won't get adverts on sky as sky are trying to kill box nation from the get go. with all the home of boxing tagline nonsense.

    Anyways, back to this fight...

Has Chisora got a chance? YES a slim one
Do I like Chisora and his attitude? YES he's not as arrogant as David Haye was
Does Chisora deserve a shot at the title? NO but that's heavyweight boxing for you.
Do I want Chisora to win, now he has a shot? YES he's british and tries hard in fights.
Will Chisora win? WHO KNOWS? Vitali on an off night = anything can happen!

No, there is a chance but it's only on a "Byrd like" way like mentioned here before.
Betting odds have shifted heavily in Britain since last week (Vitali from 1/50-1/100 to 1/10-1/25), like mostly when a British underdog is fighting, but they're still massive and for good reason.
He might have done well in the bout against Helenius (much better as most expected), but it's so much easier to avoid Robbert's jab and right hands as Vitali's, who is much more accurate and has a much higher punchoutput.
He can't outbox Vitali (nobody ever did), plus Chisora doesn't have the punching power to trouble Vitali's massive chin.

This would probably resemble Vitali vs Arreola, with the difference that Derek will probably starts fighting of the backfoot after a couple of rounds.
I expect a early knockdown (round 3/4) and a then a steady beatdown towards a round 9/10 stoppage.

Del will go out on his sword and IMO gets pulled out in the 8th

I think whilst it lasts it will be a good fight to watch

Chisora has said he will quit on his stool if he's taken a beating though.

I can't see where people are getting the "at least Del boy will have a go" bit from. Maybe Vitali's past it and Del will win, who knows. But if Del starts getting ****ed up I think he'll capitulate quickly, that or bite/headbutt/climb on the ropes and belly-flop Vitali, etc...
