    Just thought i'd mention that

Also I just watched Manuel Charr vs Luis Nascimento and I have to say, Tyson did a much better job on him than Charr did.

Remember too, Fury is only 23, and im pretty sure no other fighter under the age of 25 is even in the top 50, most of these other "young up and comers" are 30+ years old

I think Fury maybe gets a little too much hate, i mean to me he's not 5 but still he's pretty good and not a complete joke like a lot of people make out

Yeah I agree with you mate. One bad performance and you get called a 'fat ****' by some of the people on here.

Charr is ****ing terrible though. He's one of the worst excuses for a "prospect" I've seen, his jab is non-existent. The guy needed a bull**** stoppage to get past a shot Danny Williams FFS.

I'd say Andrzej Wawrzyk (24) is just about a top 50 fighter, but Fury is the best HW under 25, and can make it to the top level IF he applies himself, but IMO he's nowhere near as good as Price and a guy who blatantly ducks his main rival is never going to get respect from fans is he?

Fury isn't even a top 10 Heavyweight and in that **** division speaks volumes.

I pretty much agree with you there mate, but do you blame someone not taking a fight when there is a big risk in loosing and not getting a world title shot? If I were Fury i'd probably say no to Price and campaign for a fight with Klitschko.

Plus the fight would be a lot bigger of either Price or Fury had a world title.

No it doesn't. He's barely stepped into decent opposition yet, just domestic level and a few half-decent journeymen, had a scant amateur background and is technically dreadful. It would speak volumes if he was in the top ten.

But Fury is 23, he should be taking fights like the Price fight, not aiming at the Klitchko's. He has got years to get himself a World title and if he did it the right way he could become a very good fighter. He has no need to take short cuts to the top and it will only hurt him if he does.

Fact is if he can't beat Price he isn't beating a Klitschko. Someone like 'Shockingly Overrated' David would be a good progression towards fighting someone like the Klits, especially Wlad.

Fury is slightly under-rated on this forum. I thought he boxed well against McDermott and Chisora. The thing is, he is very young and has tremendous heart. He is a fighting man.

I liked the fact that he was so active early on in his career. He fights less frequently now but maybe that's because of personal problems he's been having. Also, if you look at the opponents he's fought, you have to give him credit for testing himself. Right from the start he's faced guys that have been of a higher quality than you would expect a novice to face. Hell, he started off with 6 rounders and moved to 8 pretty quickly.

People talk about David Price but who has Price tested himself against? Fury's win over Chisora beats anything Price has done. I don't think Fury would duck anyone either. More likely is that Hennessey didn't want it. I hate ducking as much as the next boxing fan, but it's somewhat understandable with fighters who are still developing. It's not like 2 fighters in their prime ducking each other.

I think Fury is top10, maybe just outside, his record is good for someone so young.

I'm a big fan of Fury. He's an entertaining fighter & he cracks me up when he does interviews.

I think that featherfisted Canadian has proven why Fury isn't a serious threat in the heavyweight ranks... he's to easy to hit and doesn't have a sturdy enough chin to back that up.

He just eats overhand rights all day long, and against someone who can really punch i.e. Price, he will be in big trouble.

Having said that I like watching him fight and will continue to pay to do so wether he loses or not!!!

Gerber smashes all of those mentioned to pieces and I think he's around 23. Once London 2012 is over we should see quite a lot of super heavies and heavies turn pro who are all young and they look to be competing in a strong field. Magomedrasul Majidov and Ivan Dychko will reach the top of the sport if they turn pro and probably very quickly.

True for all the David Price wankathon it's quite ironic that only a few weeks after Price crushed Sugar Ray McDermott that Sergey Rozhnov makes his debut and after one fight has a much better cv than Price.
