    :-(

    1. Mosley lost a close fight to Cotto that can be argued should have been a draw or even a Mosley win could be justify.

    2. Margarito had just KTFO Cotto, and then Mosley made Margarito his *****, better than Cotto did in the rematch fool.

    3. Mosley is also on a higher level than Maragrito and Cotto, so who ****ing cares if he's the oldest guy to ever win it, just gows to show you how good he was and how crappy this era of boxing is.

    4. The fact that he gave Mora a competitve fight, a fighter with size, reach and strength and age advantage, Mora who managed to beat Forrest (rip) should say he has a little something left...He also had an injury for the Pac fight.... So quit hating . ;)

I can't believe this **** is even happening. And No. He shouldn't get any credit, no matter how it ends.

Floyd got alittle, Manny none, but considering Canelo is not on their level, but doing good for a 21 yr old he'd get alittle. Even a faded Mosley is by far Canelos best opponent to date. Lets not forget it was Floyd and Manny doing what they did to a faded Mosley. You can bet anyone else it will not be so easy. I don't think the fix will be in this one or else why did Kirkland beat Angulo? I think they'll protect Canelo only so much thank God he's not with Arum or he'd be 80-0 right now.

I think that's bull****...Why should Alvarez be put on the same level of expectation as the #1 and #3 P4P fighters?

There is a huge difference in terms of accomplishments, experience and ranking...

IMO if he beats Shane the way these two P4P fighters beat him, I will give him credit, if he struggles, I'll still give him some credit, and considering he is not at their level, I'd be incline to give him more credit than I gave Pacquiao.

It all depends how he looks, really. He'll get less credit than Floyd and Manny because of how many times we've seen him look his age, but when a rising star meets a faded legend, their performance has to be dramatic. Sluggishly walking down and beating up a shopworn Mosley isn't going to look good, and will just remind people of how bad Shane has gotten, not how good Canelo could be. Sharply timing and catching him with hard shots leading to an early-mid stoppage, however, would be impressive, considering it's never been done before. That's how you get credit for beating a faded great; anything less is what's expected of you.

to me it depend on the first 5 rounds when mosley is most dangerous if he holds his own in this period he should get plenty of credit. He is taking on Mosley at the right time, for all of the Manny fans.......Mayweather took on Mosley after Manny/Roach flat out turned the fight down saying that it was not a good match up for them.

If Floyd and Pac couldn't stop Oldsley and Alvarez does, that's ****ing credit right there. However, I won't give Alvarez any credit. His countryman used plaster against me.

P.S. Please tune in on May 5th. I train very har for this fight and I will wing. I will be victorious over Mayweather.

I hate to say it but Mayweather deserves the most credit for beating Mosely. Shane was champ again and coming off his destruction of Margarito... and other than the 2nd round, he completely denominated Mosely. Canelo is fighting an even older Mosely who has never looked good at 154. Canelo UD.

I'd give him some credit. It depends how Canelo wins partly, but more how Mosley looks in the fight.
