think you would have a better one if the weight was between light middle and middle james moore anthony fitz neil sinclair ciaran healy joe rea spike henry coyle ryan green d walsh and alan donnolon as subs
Lee is all wrong for Chavez jr i expect the bait and switch to happen and them to sign him to fight Margarito.....
Im thinking that Chavez could beat Lee legit anyways though. Hes developed into a good pressure fighter, and could outfight Andy.
exactly chavez v margarito is a huge fight in texas and more importantly for arum an in house fight with chavez improving his record against a big name. They are probably just mentioning lee to make it sound good but i cant see arum putting chavez in with lee. They did the same before his last fight talking about lee but then in the end going with rubio because 2 mexicans in texas is always going to see letter.
Guys if you want tickets for the Mccloskey/Prizefighter bill on April 28 please just give me a shout as I will be selling them for a boxer with no cut so all goes to the boxer. Also if you are based in the Pale, Green Jab will be doing a bus.
How can McCloskey settle for Woodhouse when there was talk of him fighting Maidana after Prescott? Maidana claims McCloskey priced himself out of it. I really doubt Paul will make anywhere near as much with this joke of a fight. He hasn't exactly got time on his side either. Maybe he's content to see out his career fighting bums, safe in the knowledge that he was "robbed" roll on the only occasion that he fought for a world title. As for Lee...I find it strange that he would pull out of a televised St. Patrick's day card because he wouldn't have only been fighting a bum and instead fight a week early on a small card against...a bum. Even if Murray and whoever else rejected the fight, I can't imagine that all of the 368 middleweights ranked higher than Hloros were unavailable.
hbo wouldnt allow lee fight a bum he pulled out because he knows hes very close to a world title shot and doesnt want to risk fightin a fighter the calire of someone like quillin etc...not the way it should be done but the way it is done these days
Hello Mike, I'm hearing big exciting news to be announced soon about Rogie, and an excellent undercard. :bbb I think it's the 5th May:deal Curtis Woodhouse offered Paul McCloskey bout World Boxing News Don't miss the chance to see future boxing stars Enniscorthy Guardian McCloskey vs Woodhouse Showdown Heading To April Boxing Scene Ali v Cooper BBC Willie McLaughlin takes WSB Boxer of the week Sports News Ireland
Woodhouse is a joke of a fight. Its a no-win situation for Paul. Hes expected to win easily. If he does- people will (further) question what the point of the fight was. If he struggles to a win- people will write him off and he will look less appealing to the "big guns" out there. Barry Morrison was a terrible fight but this takes the biscuit. Can't even be described as a keep busy fight, as he hasn't fought for ages. Surely he could have been matched better than this. Did EVERYONE turn him down? Ie. zamora and those guys on the fringe of breaking through? Who exactly was approached to fight him?
I agree that Chavez is a much better fighter than he used to be, though probably still heavily reliant on diuretics, but I like Lee's chances, to be honest. I think the fight he fought in Vera 2 beats Chavez. If he gets robbed in Texas, which he will without a ko, it's almost as good as a win if it's on HBO. Think about happened with the Malinaggi/Juan Diaz fights. Andy gets a televised rematch at a neutral sight. Also, Steward won't any let Chavez get away with anything dodgy as far as PEDs.
