Done deal, according to Steve Kim who quoted Cameron Dunkin.

    135 lbs. April 14.

    Wow.

I guess Rios is more confident in making 135 than I am. Should be a interesting fight, a tremendous contrast in styles. Don't know which way to go yet.

    April 14th?

    He'd better start dieting tonite.

135lbs means Gamboa has a shot, though I think Rios is going to be too big.

This will be a great fight for Hardcore fans, and if given the right platform, is perfect for attracting and keeping new ones.

It took them long enough to make the deal. Props to Gamboa
for being steadfast on 135, I don't doubt Rios tried to make it closer
to 140. Hope Gamboa is getting a nice payday.

They had been talking Alvarado-Provodkinov, which would be great,
but I don't know. If its a single fight HBO telecast that'd still be OK,
    this fight is big enough.

alvarado provodnikov wouldn't lack excitement. i'm satisfied just seeing rios gamboa no doubt about it, but a nice support bout would be the cherry on top man.

Gamboa is going to beat the **** out of him! Rios cannot make 135 anymore, he was past that **** 3 fights ago. He had a remotely close fight with Murray!!! Gamboa is no Murray. Gamboa by TKO
