I'm not a fan of changing names of divisions

    But surely the cruiserweight division should be called LHW division?

    No other division has a light____ and then another division and then the actual division

    You don't have light-welterweight, then another division, then welterweight, because that wouldn't make it light-welterweight would it

    I think it would do a lot for the recognition of the CW division given how much it is overlooked

    historically there were 8 divisions. as heavyweights became bigger and bigger they introduced the cruiserweight division. Lightweight stayed the same. Thats why the light heavyweight division isn't anymore just below the heavyweights.

    It was either that or Super HW which suits today's HW's more I think.

    It was originaly called the junior heavyweight division.

    I know, but it is now the most overlooked division in boxing, if you ask a lot of casuals what a cruiserweight is they will struggle to place it in it's correct place

    It has always been seen as the poor stepchild of the hw division, with a lot of cw's hoping to eventually move to hw.

    Cruiserweight is such an outcast in the divisions, I bet al the others bully him for it too.
