Lost in the midst of last nights drama Galahad & Eubank Jr, your opinions!

    It's perfectly understandable that this bill was forgotten in the midst of the controversy from a certain fighters actions over the last few days. However somewhat unbelievably last night far more eye balls will have watches Kid Galahad and Chris Eubank Jr in action then the Heavyweight fight in question. So simply put what was your opinion of their respective performances last night, do you see a bright future for Galahad and Eubank Jr? And how do you feel Galahad would do against the likes of Munroe, Quigg and Frampton.

    I'm watching the show now and I have to say that Channel 5 did some great short features before the fights began. They did a good job and it's nice to see some decent production, a big improvement from when they talked about how many sweets Tyson Fury used to eat, gee that got me pumped.

    i was surprised a bit at eubank struggling in only his 2nd pro fight, but i suppose you can put that down to his hand injury.
    kid galahad, i think he's a good fighter, definatley british title class, he is gonna get compared to naz, but i dont think he'll have anything like the success naz did.

    Just watching the show now still on the Galahad fight so can't comment on Eubank. I agree with everything you say about Galahad, I would move him quite slow if I was Mick he is clearly still waiting to develop his man strength and he needs to get used to sitting on his punches, because I can't see him doing much to dissuade stronger fighters like Carl Frampton, Scott Quigg and Rendall Munroe.

    Think Galahad is a superb boxer, definitly one of the best pure boxer's around Britain today. I do thinkhis chin mightbe shaky though, and then theres the lack of power, although he seemed sharp enough last night.

    I'd fancy him to beat Frampton, but I think Quigg might be a tough one for him stylistically.However I'd say he is as good as those two if notbetter.

    My Sky+ cut off the Eubank fight so I wasnt best pleased, but Channel 5 do a good job in my opinion

    Was laughing my arse off at sweaty Fat Mick hulking out of his Mr Byrite suit

    Good performance by Galahad, but as the post above says he hasn't got the pop to dissuade the stronger fighters in the division.

    On a side note but anyone notice the slightly ******ed scorecard from Ian John Lewis? Scored the first round 10-10 with a knockdown?! Not that it should be an instant 10-8 round or anything, but does that mean it would have been a 10-8 round to Galahad without the knockdown?

    I scored the first round 10-10,Galahad won it clearly so a 10-9 round and Booth gets a point for the knockdown so 10-10

    It's because we know to expect this from Ian John Lewis. I'm sure he is a nice guy but he is a ****ing incompetent judge and ref and he needs to get relegated to four and six rounders at best.

    It was a clear round to Galahad so I see where you are coming from, but I can't imagine many people scored it that way - It's unusual to see a drawn round with a knockdown, not that it was important in the fight as a whole, but if it was a close fight I would imagine it being quite controversial!

    Galahad was good, he does tend to get blase and admire his work a little, and he gets caught while doing so. Maybe it's a concentration issue. As said previously, he doesn't really have the power to dissuade the stronger fighters, and in a war of attrition I see him getting worn down.

    Agree with that, the good thing it that he is only 21 and that was only his eleventh professional fight and first test so he has plenty of time to work on that. As I said above I hope he is moved slowly he looks physically weak at the moment but that will come as he gets older no need to throw him to the wolves, get him tough durable opponents that will cause trouble like Robbie Turley or Franklin Varela.

    Galahad looked good. Some good skills, got some good experience last night but needs to work on his power.

    Didn't get to see Eubank JR yet because my Sky + cut out after 98 mins.
