Maybe. but he did say he wants two more fights. After Hopkins he will probably face the winner of Woods-Tarver or the winner of Pavlik-Taylor.
One more fight after he does Hopkins, Could be Taylor/Pavlik/Jones/Dawson/Woods/Tarver, either way, JC will retire a Legend
He looked great against Kessler like he's still on top I think if he can do that to Hopkins he can reach 50 fights easy.
But either way he cant get those years back. I don't think there are enough big fights at this age to stop anyone from saying "what if" to is early years. He has stepped it up though.
Yes I agree. Talent wise he is a great but the resume is the one that goes on record and that future people will look on unfortunately. But Health > Greatness.
I guess he did waste a lot of years and more importantly his "prime" years. Someone with that talent though, you'd expect a lot more from them. In comparision, Hopkins has had all of his biggest fights on the plus side of 36 yrs of age.
Alot of fighters dont get thjeir best wins til the end of the their career, Hopkins is a prime example as is Marvin Hagler.
